Seminar on ‘Novel Coronavirus Awareness’

A seminar on Novel Coronavirus Awareness’ was organized on January 22 in the auditorium in XYZ School. The school premises was richly decorated with small festoons and banners. At 11 a.m., all the teachers, students, and guardians were present there. The program was started with the arrival of the honorable chief guest DI and the CMOH. An eminent doctor P.Banarjee presented on the stage. The students welcomed all the guests with bouquets of flowers. Then the two eminent physicians delivered their highly valuable speeches on this pandemic. They shared their knowledge about the coronavirus, safety measures to prevent the virus, symptoms of Covid-19, and how the virus is spreading among people. They also clearly explained the ways to improve our immunity of body and food habits. Then the CMOH presented an image like description about how coronavirus was reported on December 31, 2019, in Wuhan, China. Then on March 11 WHO declared Covid-19 a Pandemic.  A student of class-10, Prothik Barmon recited a self-written poem about the Covid-10 pandemic. Then two students presented a drama on how awareness is important for the students to defeat Covid-19. To make the programme more glorious, masks and sanitizers were distributed among the students on the behalf of the medical department. At the end of the program, the headmaster delivered a short speech to the students and gave a vote of thanks to all for making the program a grand success. The students left for home storing some good memories about coronavirus awareness in the layer of their minds.

A campaign on novel coronavirus awareness was held on 1st February by Malda Town High School.  An event was organized at the playground of the school and people from the word no. 07,10, 13, 03 had turned up maintaining social distancing. The municipality chairman had extended their helping hands in spreading the awareness. The chairman, K.N.Chaudwary, and two eminent doctors were the chief guests of the programme. Our headmaster welcomed the chief guest and the local people. The programme was started at 11 a.m. The two eminent physicians delivered their highly valuable speeches on this pandemic. They shared their knowledge about the coronavirus, safety measures to prevent the virus, symptoms of Covid-19, and how the virus is spreading among people. They also clearly explained the ways to improve our immunity of body and food habits. They requested us to wear musk and sanitize our hands. Masks and sanitizers were given away among the people on the behalf of the municipality. A student of class-7, Ananda Kumar Day recited a self-written poem about the Covid-10 pandemic. Some students presented an audio drama on novel coronavirus awareness. At the end of the program, the headmaster delivered a short speech to the students and gave a vote of thanks to all.
