Madhab Nagar Badal Moni High School organized a blood donation camp on 23rd January Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birthday. It started at around 10 a.m. and continued till 2 p.m. The Respected S.P. of our police station was the chief guest and inaugurated the programme. Dr. B. Dutta and Dr. N. Podder, Malda Medical College, conducted the blood donation proceedings. The students of class X had the duty of volunteering the donors. They served them milk, apples and cakes. Besides students, teachers and the non-teaching staff of our school were also there to donate their blood.
They collected more than 120 pouches of blood which will be given to three local hospitals that are in immediate need of blood. The experts sealed and labelled the collected blood carefully. At the end of the program, the headmaster delivered a short speech for the students and gave a vote of thanks to all for making the program a grand success.

Malda, September 05, 2023: A blood donation camp was organized yesterday by the Janaseba Sangha Club in Malda. The Chief Medical officer of Malda Medical College inaugurated the blood donation camp. He himself donated blood. Local people, students, and teachers of schools and colleges spontaneously participated in the camp and donated their blood. A medical team headed by four doctors and nurses came to collect and preserve the blood. More than 250 people donated their blood. What inspired the students to join this campaign was the slogan-“Donate blood and save life.” The Chief Medical officer called upon everybody to donate blood in future fearlessly. He also pointed out the facility of having blood from the blood bank in case of emergency on the production of the donor’s card. Sir Amal Tripathi, secretary of the club thanked all the people for making the programme successful.

Malda, 24 January 2023: A blood donation camp was organized by the Nine Star Club at Malda on 23rd January to commemorate the birthday of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. It was announced 7 days ago and banners and posters inviting the people to donate blood were also put up in popular public places. Dr. N. Sinha, the renowned physician presided over the camp. A team of doctors worked from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. so that the camp might be successful. Local people, students and teachers enthusiastically participated in the camp and donated blood. People understood the importance of donating blood. They collected more than 150 pouches of blood which will be given to three local hospitals that are in immediate need of blood.

A blood donation camp was organized in the school hall of ABC High School, Malda, on 15 March 2018. The chief guest of this programme was Mr S. Roy, the honourable M.L.A. of our district. Our school’s headmaster welcomed them cordially. He inaugurated the camp by cutting the ribbon at 11 a.m. All the preparations such as arrangement of beds, sanitations etc. were made. A team of doctors and nurses from the local govt. the hospital reached in time. The students of our school and the people of our locality took part in the camp. Many local people and students donated their blood. I was also enthusiastic about donating my blood. Fruits and milk were given to the all dinners. The chief guest delivered a speech to the audience that the donated blood would be used to save the lives of the injured and the sick. The students performed an interesting programme. Everybody enjoyed that. Sweets were distributed to all. The programme ended at 3 pm with the National Anthem.

A blood donation camp was held at our school on the eve of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birthday with the help of an NGO named ‘Gour Darshon’ and the local hospital on 23 January 2023. It started at around 10 a.m. and continued up to 2 p.m. The Respected B.D.O of our locality came and inaugurated the programme by cutting a ribbon. He gave a short speech on the necessity and the benefits of donating blood. A list of donner was made. All the willing donors were present on the school grounds in time. Local people also enlisted their names. Two adjacent rooms were set for checkup and donation. We, the students of class XII had the duty of volunteering the donors.
We served them milk, apples and cakes. Besides students, teachers and the non-teaching staff of our school were also there to donate their blood. Our headmaster was very happy as more local people turned up. After 11 a.m. collected blood was sealed and labelled carefully by experts. Teachers appreciated our zeal and patience all through the programme. The headmaster announced that such events would be organized frequently at our school in the near future.

A blood donation camp was held in the premises of Jaharatala High School. The programme was conducted by the local NGO, Malda Welfare Society. The banners and posters were put up in popular public places in around the locality seven days ago. The purpose of the blood donation camp was to aid the poor patients unable to buy blood. Dr. P.K. Das and Dr. S.P. Basak, Malda Medical College, conducted the blood donation proceedings. The local people, teachers, and students who were willing to donate blood were enlisted their names on the list. They appeared in time to render this noble social service. Apart from the teachers and students of this college, the people of this area were greatly enthusiastic. The blood donation started at 1 p.m. and went on till 3.30. p.m.
The students of class XII had the duty of volunteering the donors. More than 200 people donated their blood. The collected blood was sealed and labelled carefully by experts. Each donor was given eggs, milk, and fruits. Finally, the donors were issued certificates. Before the blood donation, Dr. P.K. Das, Dr. S.K. Das, delivered his short speech on the necessity of donating blood. At the end of the program, the headmaster delivered a short speech for the students and gave a vote of thanks to all for making the program a grand success. The students left for home at 4:00 p.m. getting a tiffin packet and storing some good memories in the layer of their minds.
